I got to know Abbigail when she moved into our neighborhood a while back. I saw her in the front yard, holding little Cooper while I was walking my kids. Of course, I had to talk to her because I am always open to new a mom friend, and since then, I feel like we have really hit it off. Abbigail is one of my few friends that’s actually from the south like me. I don’t know how that happens but somehow, there don’t seem to be that many of us out there anymore, but I have enjoyed hearing about her family’s farms in NC. We both have a love for babies, essential oils, makeup, and shopping. She even talked me into trying a new foundation from BeautyCounter. That post will be for another day because today, I am blogging her family session!!
I’ll start with this little angel, Cooper. He was happy the entire time, and to be honest, I’ve never seen him NOT happy. He makes me feel good about myself because he laughs at me all the time and makes me feel like I’m very funny. Maybe I just really am, who knows. Cooper has two little teeth poking through at the bottom and is very curious. He loves leaves, we found that out at the shoot when he tried to eat them. I definitely had to include those in the session gallery.
Jeff was one of those husbands who makes you laugh. Guys can be tricky on a photoshoot. They usually don’t want to be there and they’re just ready to move on. I’m sure Jeff felt that way too but he kept me laughing the whole time so I enjoyed it, either way. He reminded me of my friend Vince, and the family shoot we did. I got to do something fun by taking pictures of families AND I got to laugh the entire time doing it. And I had some adult interaction, which is rare most days.
Abbigail is very stylish and you can tell that in both her clothes and her house. Everything was decorated so cute and the family looked great together.
