Now that Alex is a little older and I can se the light at the end of the tunnel (in regards to the first year black hole), I’ve started walking again and have plans to run the Cooper River Bridge Run in April 2017. What better motivation is there than a new workout wardrobe, am I right?? In the spirit of my clothing philosophy, I decided to build a wardrobe that fits all of my wardrobe rules, filling it with quality clothes, and of course, a little bit of style.
In building this wardrobe, I tried to keep in mind the types of activities I do. I am a self proclaimed yogini, I even have the teacher certification to prove it, so that’s an essential part of what I need. I also really enjoying running so I have to have a combination of comfortable, well fitted clothes, some of which can withstand the weather. I’ve definitely found some gems at lower cost stores like Aerie and Target, but I prefer to pay for quality since these will be so close to my skin. My go to brands for yoga are Hyde Yoga, Alo Yoga, and Athleta. For you Lulu fans, I’m not as big a fan of Lulu for yoga, but do have some items sprinkled in my running gear, although I prefer Nike. So without further ado, here is my list.
Leggings
Other Bottoms
Yoga Tops
Run Tops
I’m not a big fan of wearing workout clothes on the days I’m not actually working out, but being a mom of two kids, it just happens sometimes. At least if I’m wearing some cute stuff that matches, I am not feeling like a total slob. Sometimes, what i’m wearing is the only I have!
What are some of your go to workout brands?
