What do I want to say about the Johnson family? Lauren is my photo buddy and I am so grateful that she has been apart of my photography journey, if only for a short while. We met through Clickin Moms and when she reached out to me to tell me she was moving to Greenville, I was pretty pumped. In that short amount of time, we have had so much fun taking pictures of each other all throughout Greenville. In fact, if it weren’t for her, I would have absolutely no content for my Style Instagram account. When she told me she was moving, I was pretty bummed. While I am so excited for her family and the adventures they get to endure, I am selfishly sad that we won’t have those mornings together, exploring greenville with camera in tow. I knew that we needed to utilize the time we had left and swap family portraits. And that we did. We’ve bonded over the trials of motherhood, what it’s like transitioning from working woman to working mom, as well as our love for capturing our kids. It was only natural that we used those talents, and the knowledge of how crazy our kids are, to get photos of us, the moms, with our kids. This session was fun and as chaotic as you would imagine. We took turns snapping away at each other’s family, bribing the kids with treats, and tolerating our displeased husbands. And I would do it over and over again.
