Welcome to my blog, E and A Style. I’ve dabbled in writing blogs before, but this is my very first fashion/style blog! I’ve chosen to start this blog because I am also launching a new business! E and A Style is a company dedicated to helping my clients fulfill their styling needs. As a style coach, my goal is to work with people to find their own sense of style and implement that style into their life. I’ll talk a little more about that later, but first, let me tell you a bit about myself.
I am a Greenville native who’s lived here all my life, le sigh. I have always wanted to travel the world, take photos for National Geographic, and experience different cultures. Obviously, that did not happen, but if I could go back in time and change it all, I wouldn’t. Currently, I am a stay at home mom with a little girl, Ellie, who is two years old AND I’m 38 weeks pregnant. I’m READY TO GET THIS BABY OUT, excited about the birth of my baby boy, who’s due this week. Before mommy hood, I spent several years in a challenging career as an executive recruiter. I was pretty successful, but once Ellie was born, I knew that my calling was to be at home with her. It’s been very challenging because I want to do it perfectly, but I am grateful for all of the lessons I’ve learned. Because I always like a challenge, I figured, hey, why not start a new business just as my second child is born because you know, rearing children is a piece of cake. And so, E and A Style is born.
E and A Style is a business dedicated to helping the client discover his/her own innate style. It’s different for everyone! We all want to look our best in our daily lives, but it’s so hard when you’re looking after kids, working 10 hours per day, taking care of sick/elderly people, etc. It can also be super overwhelming to walk into a store and see all these different shapes, styles, colors, brands, even for me. My focus as a style coach is to simply work with the client to find out what style works best and then teach the client how to put it all together. I can help the stay at home mom find a wardrobe that’s easy and comfortable but still polished. I can help the client who has a new job and needs a work wardrobe. I’m calling myself a “Style Coach” because in addition to wardrobe building and redesign, I can also help with small scale decorating and organization. Whatever the clients’ needs, I am here to adapt and help.
To define my style, I would say that I’m your typical southern, American Sportswear type gal. My favorite designers are Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Tori Burch but I also like Stella McCartney and Chloe. I love a little boho and usually will pair those hippie themed accessories with my conservative basics. That being said, my goal isn’t to make you dress like me. My goal is to help YOU determine your own look and then teach you how to make that happen. We can focus on your wardrobe, make-up, and hair, OR we can spend more time updating your living space. I’m here for whatever you need.
I hope that you’ll continue to follow me here on my website. I’ll be posting about fashion trends and how to use them in every day life, make up tutorials, hair tutorials, and updating your personal space. If you decide you’re ready to move forward and update your look, contact me and we’ll get started asap! Thanks so much and I can’t wait to hear from you!
