Ever year, I attempt to start a 365 project and typically, about 2-3 weeks in, I miss a day. And most of the time, it’s okay because I’m never that rigid with these things but I’ve felt inspired lately to pick up my camera daily to capture something beautiful in my life. And then I was thinking, maybe I could share those moments here on my blog. The challenge was how to do it. Do I just share the image? Do I add words? Do I title it by the day? I started thinking about this idea of seeing the beauty in my daily life and thought, wouldn’t it be neat if I shared some thoughts on gratitude each day with the image I took? And so here we are. Based on my past experiences with this, I’m not sure if I will actually do 365 days, but even if I miss a day here or there, sharing words of daily gratitude will help me to see the beauty in the mundane, the beauty in pain, the beauty of life. So here is day 1.

365 days of gratitude

On january 16th, 2019, I am grateful for:

  1. Time spent with a friend.
  2. Presence while someone grieved the loss of their spouse
  3. The joy of connecting with women who share similar goals
