If you read my post before, you know that I’ve been on the lookout for mascara. Over the past couple of months, I’ve tried a couple of different brands, but for today’s post, I’m just going to talk about Christian Dior’s Black Out Mascara. It was recommended to me by a reader and so I thought I’d give it a try.

It’s a little pricier costing $28.50
What I Like:
I like that it really does lengthen and thicken my lashes. They always look very pretty when I’m done applying and I don’t have to do a ton of coats, I usually just do two and I’m good to go
What I don’t like:
It clumps so I for sure have to use a brush to get rid of extra clumps once I let it dry a bit. It also smudges and does NOT want to come off at night, no matter how many times I wash my face and use makeup remover. Lastly, because the brush is think and my lashes are poo, I always end up poking myself in the eye trying to get to my lash line.
Overall thoughts:
I really thought I would like it because it has so many good reviews, but I just don’t like the smudging and clumping. So for $28.50, I’m probably not going to try it again, Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes, simply because it does the job it says it will and people seem to love it so maybe it’s just me.
My fave mascara to date is still Clinique –
You have to apply several layers but that seems to be it’s only flaw.
Next on the list, I’m trying Benefit Roller Lash & Curling Mascara
